Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2025

Agreement to Terms

By using Frontier Commerce's services ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

Services

We do e-commerce and web development. That includes:

  • Shopify store development and customization
  • BigCommerce store development and customization
  • Custom web development solutions
  • E-commerce consultations
  • Website maintenance and support

Client Responsibilities

When you work with us, you agree to:

  • Give us accurate information so we can do the work
  • Reply to our messages in a reasonable timeframe
  • Give us access to the accounts and platforms we need
  • Review and approve our work within agreed timeframes
  • Pay on time per our agreement

Payment Terms

We'll spell out payment details in your project proposal. Generally:

  • A deposit may be required before work begins
  • Final payment is due upon project completion
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified

Intellectual Property

Once you've paid in full, the custom code and designs we made for you are yours. A few exceptions:

  • We retain the right to use pre-existing code, tools, and frameworks
  • Third-party assets (themes, plugins, images) are subject to their own licenses
  • We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed

Limitation of Liability

We're not liable for indirect damages like lost profits or lost data that come from using our services, to the extent the law allows.

If something goes wrong, the most we'd owe is what you paid us for that specific service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is." We do good work, but we can't guarantee:

  • Specific sales or traffic numbers for your website
  • Zero downtime or errors
  • That Shopify, BigCommerce, or other third-party platforms will stay up 100% of the time

Termination

Either side can end a project with written notice. If that happens:

  • You will pay for all work completed up to the termination date
  • We will deliver all completed work and materials
  • Deposits may be non-refundable depending on work completed

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Texas law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using our services after a change, that counts as agreeing to the new terms.
